<image:title>Lindsay - Lindsay Henry</image:title>
<image:caption>Lindsay is the owner and founder of Yoga Spot Meadville. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500; E-RYT 200) and Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) through Yoga Alliance. She completed her 200-hour teacher training through Yoga & Ayurveda Center in December 2020 and her 300-hour training with Mark Stephens in April 2022. She continues to train extensively with Jason Crandell. She began practicing yoga in 2018 following reconstructive ankle surgery. She quickly fell in love with the meditative movements and physical benefits of yoga and has been practicing ever since. As a former college athlete, she was drawn to the challenge of vigorous practices like Ashtanga and Vinyasa but quickly found that, unlike any sport or workout, yoga helped her calm the mind, connect to her breath, and self-regulate. Lindsay enjoys developing well-informed sequences that allow students to build greater awareness, explore sensory feedback, and improve functional movement. Her classes often emphasize building strength within one’s range of motion. She teaches blended styles of yoga, including, but not limited to, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Slow Flow, and Yoga For All. She created Yoga Spot Meadville, not only to share the transformative effects of yoga with others but to provide an opportunity for students to create connections within a supportive “in-person” yoga community. When she is not practicing or teaching yoga, she enjoys paddle boarding, climbing, live music, hiking, and traveling with her partner and dog.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Kate is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500) through Yoga Alliance. She recently completed her 300-hour training with Jason Crandell in December 2024. Kate completed her 200-hour training with Yoga & Ayurveda Center in 2020 and also holds certifications in Kids Yoga and Hikyoga. She started practicing yoga in 2018, at the suggestion of her mom, to reduce stress and improve flexibility. Kate was motivated by the asanas that did not come easily, trying to touch her toes for the first time, and learning how to breathe through the practice. She grew up playing sports, coached women’s college basketball for 15 years, and spent many summers running youth basketball camps for the Meadville community. Now that she has switched careers to athletic administration, she continues to 'coach' and share her love of yoga with both adults and our littlest yogis. She has extensive training in offering yoga to beginners including the completion of Jason Crandell’s, '“The Art of Teaching Beginners.” Kate has obtained all clearances and is trained in "Kidding Around Yoga tm” (KAY). KAY is a style of yoga that was created by Haris Lender. It encompasses the branches of yoga in a clear engaging method. A typical KAY class gets the children singing, dancing, skipping, marching, jogging, shaking, laughing, hopping, and storytelling all while practicing authentic yoga to original KAY music. She loves to teach, coach, and connect with others. You can find her teaching Yoga For All, Vinyasa, Kids Yoga, Tween to Teen Yoga, and our Beginners Series. When she isn’t teaching yoga, she’s enjoying the outdoors, walking her pup, and traveling.</image:caption>

She has trained with Mark Stephens, Erika Abrahamian, David Garrigues, and Susan Mondi Bowen, with emphasis on functional anatomy-based yoga and yoga adjustments. Jennifer has completed advanced training in yoga sequencing, yoga anatomy, restorative practice, and pranayama. She has undertaken an in-depth study of the theory and practice of hands-on adjustments, which is particularly important in helping yoga students find sustainable and healthy ways to match their practice to the specific needs of their bodies. She also teaches meditation courses at Allegheny College. She teaches Vinyasa Flow-style classes, Yoga for All, Ashtanga, and a variety of themed workshops at the studio. Kris completed her 200-hour teacher training at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge, MA in 2018. She is an RYT 200 instructor with Yoga Alliance. Guiding her practice and teachings is the knowledge and wisdom of the teachers she has been privileged to learn from. Compassion is at the core of Kris’s training and she encourages students to explore their yoga practice with “compassionate self-observation without judgment”. Kris believes yoga is accessible to all and utilizes modifications, breath, and sensation to create space to explore our bodies in movement. She believes transformation happens when we can take the lessons we learn on-the-mat and incorporate them into our off-the-mat world. Off-the-mat, Kris enjoys caring for others as a registered nurse and spending time outdoors – riding her horse, working in the garden, exploring local waters in a kayak, and hiking. She is often accompanied by her husband or one of her sons.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Kathleen is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) and a Certified Health & Life Coach and Intuitive Eating Counselor. She's been practicing yoga since 2016 and started teaching in 2020. Kathleen loves to incorporate a variety of styles into her classes, but most importantly focuses on the intuitive rhythm of matching breath with movement, cultivating strength in both mind and body, and, of course, having fun :) Kathleen believes yoga isn't just a movement practice, but something that helps connect you to yourself and appreciate all your body can do for you. In her coaching business, Kathleen focuses on creating a loving relationship with food and body with her clients and brings those same principles into her yoga classes. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Kathleen moved to Meadville in July of 2023 with her husband, Braden, son, Tag, and dog, Wiley. When she's not on the mat, you can find her exploring the outdoors with her 2-year-old, cooking really yummy food, and checking out all the best local spots.</image:caption>
